The Hiding Place

Despite the poor pun, The Hiding Place is operated as a leatherworker and fletchers of considerable quality. The owner is an experienced half-elf ranger from the islands west of Kasetia, named Cenehua Ztenpachuin. She keeps an assistant around, who runs the shop when she's absent (which tends to be often). The building has two floors, the first acting as the shop, and the second acting as a living and sleeping area for Cenehua.      First floor is a rectangular shape with a chamfered corner, which also has the shops entrance. The main room has a few stands with leather armor hanging off them. A counter is set up, with bows hanging over wall racks, and arrow bundles in quivers off stands. Further back in the room, a workbench with leatherworking and weaving materials has been set up. A set of stairs heads up far to the rear, with tables and chairs setup behind them.  The second floor is rather simple, using a similar chamfered shape, though only has a pair of beds, a wardrobe and nightstands.     The building has an underground basement section leading off the rear of the first floor. A set of stairs leading down about 12 foot opens to a hallway, with a room on either side, leading into a larger one. The left room has beds, the right room has crates and stores of items. The rear room has a fully fleshed bar, with square tables and an elevated rear section. Three black stripes hang from the back of the room, covering a black mask made of cloth hanging off the wall.

Purpose / Function

The shop was originally an old storage house used by Varrimores port, though that was long before it became the place it is now. Recently, Cenehua has accepted the presence of the Three Stripe Gang in the building, who use it as a hangout and safehouse.

Alterations

After making herself at home there, Cenehua kept what she could, with the rest being torn down. It's noticeable from the change in stone and wood, particularly in the rear areas of the building.

Architecture

Uses light brown tiling on the roof, with dark brown wooden walls.

History

Cenehua opened her shop barely 7 years ago now, wanting a break from her time spent patrolling the wilds. However her natural wanderlust hasn't dissipated entirely, which often leaves the shop closed for extended periods of time.

Tourism

Adventurers, travelers, merchants and hunters.
