Fates end involved the The Overgod manufacturing a new set of Tablets of Fate, which would define the roles of every god for the foreseeable future.

After the Time of Absent Magic, The Overgod made a decree to the gods who had survived.

"I shall leave you for 400 years. Once I return I shall judge your importance and the merit of your existence."

After this, The Overgod was not heard from for 400 years, locking the gods into their divine realms and sought to restrain their levels of power. Upon return The Overgod let it be known he had begun writing a new set of the Tablets of Fate, which he hoped would assert the portfolios of every god for the foreseeable future.

Many of the gods scrambled for power, seeking to ensure they had as much power as possible before their status and portfolio were sealed by The Overgod. The process of rebuilding the Tablets took 15 years.

Events

• In 792, Chosen of Deep Duerra, Wisebethund began mustering a force of Duergar in the Great Maw, seeking to eradicate the weakened dwarven forces of the Kirthol Mountains. She was enslaved by the aboleth, Sigzsillitam who instead forced her into creating the Duergar city of Kagh Kuldir above its sunken lake, then releasing her.
• In 792, the fabled Ladies of the Golden Hills became reality, after a collection of female gnomish adventurers foiled a kobold plot to free Kurtulmak, killing his avatar in the process.
• In 793, Auril made first contact with Yigka Tholith and began sapping its power.
