The Sunsetters

---CLASSIFIED INFORMATION BEGINS---

The Sunsetters have existed for hundreds of years, standing at the precipice of the Material Plane and all those beyond, standing guard to keep the material safe and secure. They're located underneath the country of Boncly, where planar tears happen the most frequently. In the modern day, there are 7 official Sectors, each headed by a different Mayor of Boncly. Induction into the Sunsetters comes at the same time as election, and they're part of the responsibilities. If a Mayor is incapable of handling it, they are fully able to step down, and the previous mayor does the Sunsetter duty, while the new Mayor handles the governing of their territory. The current Head Staff and Sectors of The Sunsetters are as follows:

1. Sector 1: Mechanical Science Division - The Steelcrafters, responsible for new mechanic inventions and maintenance of Weapons and Armor. Sector Head: Mayor Colby Treloar Lead Mechanist: Emil Borisov 
2. Sector 2: Arcane Science Division - The Waterwalkers, responsible for Arcane development, studies, and acquisition. Sector Head: Mayor Yolanda Felix Head Arcanist: Elvira Souza 
3. Sector 3: Biological Science Division - The Shadebringers, responsible for Biological Studies of potential enemies and researching potential toxins, and upkeeping soldier health. Sector Head: Mayor Maleko Head Biologist: Androcles 
4. Sector 4: Information Gathering Division - The Windrunners, responsible for acquiring, investigating, and trading essential information all across Edda. Sector Head: Mayor Wilfried Egger Head Archivist: Millie Andromeda 
5. Sector 5: Militant Division - The Firespreaders, responsible for head-on assaults against dangerous forces, and the defense of the country as National Guard. Sector Head: Governor Jacob Morrison Head General: Valarie Bryn 
6. Sector 6: Divine Division - The Lightmakers, responsible for religious cleansing and healing, along with necessary rituals and ceremonies for defense and purification. Sector Head: Mayor Orna Cassidy Head Paladin: Camilla Cassidy 
7. Sector 7: Covert Operations Division - The Dustcrawlers, responsible for carrying out offensive missions that require secrecy and finesse, along with some sabotage. Sector Head: Mayor Gladys Pugh Head Assassin: Shade

Structure

Originally, The Sunsetters were led by a family line from when it was first founded, but as Boncly became it's own nation, those founders realized that they needed to let those in charge of the country know what was going on. Since then, the President of Boncly has always been the one at the head of The Sunsetters. Following the President in the chain of command are their Right and Left hand appointees, those that can be trusted and relied on when the President isn't available. Following them are the Sector Heads, followed by their Lead Workers, and from there it's a looser chain of command.

To Protect Boncly and all of Edda against threats originating from other Planes of Existence.

Assets

Each of The Sunsetters sectors provides materials and products for use in the whole organization, and also provides similar products to the regular people of Boncly under pseudonyms as well. As far as military battalions go, they have about 30,000 soldiers in total, and along with that they have access to 3 battle ships in different locations, cavalry units, and aerial combat units as well.
