Arkis Nicholixius
Arkis is a Dragonborn hailing from the Nicholixius clan. Traditionally a dragonborn will use their clan name first, but Arkis is not looking to advertise his heritage. In his clan, one sorcerer is born every other generation, this curse fell upon him. His grandmother, the matriarch of the family, and previous sorcerer, raised him to carry on the important role he was to fulfill. The Nicholixius clan is one of monetary and political power, acquired through generations of threats and intimidation by the powerful sorcerers produced in the bloodline. Arkis was taught how to use his powers to aid the family however they saw fit, he was a tool to be used. After his 16th birthday, the day he becomes a man, he decided that he was not going to continue the horrible tradition his family has established. He snuck out late one stormy night, and hasn't looked back. He has dedicated his life to righting the wrongs performed by his clan for generations. His biggest fear is being found by his grandmother, being that she is the only one powerful enough to force him back into that hell.
