Aldavel Protectorate

A military empire that grew out of the chaos at the end of the 2nd epoch and beginning of the 3rd. Eventually dominating the northeastern fair lands of Mitari. Born from the desires of Eloyt Aldavel who decided that the people of Solisea needed ruled and protected from each other. The Protectorate was passed from Aldavel generation to generation, not on who was born first but whoever showed themselves the strongest leader. The Protectorate took care of its lands, its people, and itself. This did not always make it the most popular as it would counter internal and external threats with merciless precision. However, once threats of this nature were expunged there was no further judgment. The citizens of the protectorate grew and thrived under its control and many came to appreciate the just nature of its rule and stability. Having finally expanded its borders to the Desolation and the surrounding oceans Karn Aldavel, last leader of the protectorate, saw the need for a strong military began to wane. He did not desire to go to war with the growing Thrician Trade Company and the desires for expansion came mainly from his fathers he decided to build strength within. Karn brokered an alliance with the Osman Tribes and set up trade and hospitality in its ports.  The Protectorate turned its attention to improvements with its country. Karn led the Protectorate into an age of enlightenment and its height of glory, when his days were few, he split it into two countries for his sons. He saw the destiny of the Protectorate as completed the time when the people's need for protection from themselves or others had passed.
