The Fa'de was once a great and beautiful kingdom but is recovering from the
War for Brom and restoring its people and the beauty of
M'Erenal.
History
The Fa'de began when one of the
Sand Elf tribes of the
Desert of Galtheras found the oasis in the middle of the desert and stopped wandering. They began to build and establish a trade city named
M'Erenal. M'Erenal is roughly translated to the blessing of life from the original tribal meaning. As time passed and the city grew and gather more of thee
Sand Elf people the nomadic tribes began to see it as an affront to the traditions of the Sand Elf tribes. This lead to multiple skirmishes with the various tribes and war in 1150.
Golden Age
Under the leadership of
Taldel,
M'Erenal and the Fa'de entered into a Golden age for nearly 200 years. M'erenal became a mecca for art, culture and the study of the mind. The Fa'de were naturally gifted with Psionics and that gift was very strong in the royal family, even moreso in
Taldel himself. It was during this time M'Erenal attracted the unwanted attentions
Zydriss, The Undying.
Zydriss, The Undying was defeated by
Taldel twice during his rule. With the multiple incredible acts the Fa'de grew in strength even further. This strength and perseverence allowed the Fa'de to refuse the
Pale Dawn's agreement with the rest of
Brom standing alone with a non-agression pact.
Sunset
All things must end and
Taldel's golden age for the Fa'de ended with the sacking and occupation of
M'Erenal by the
Cult of Rail. The
Cult of Rail couldn't be stopped and consumed the
Fa'de that were not able to escape the city before or during the siege.
