Kiritchati

Kiritchati is the island nation of the tabaxi, located in the Datric Ocean, about 220 miles east of Avera.

Geography

A significant portion of Kiritchati's land is covered by dense jungles, with the Cloudreach Mountains in the southeast and Banyard Bay to the northwest.

History

The island has been inhabited by the tabaxi since the Age of the Meydra when it was selected by Kiritch, the Cat Lord. They have always remained largely isolated, with a few instances of families migrating to other land masses, and a great many reports of individuals departing to seek adventure. There were no active efforts to make contact with the natives until the Era of Light, when a few Averan kingdoms reached out to attempt to establish trade partnerships. These attempts were, however, met with a decided lack of interest.
