Mavislak the Blood-eyed

Mavislak Yen-Ixir, commonly known as the Blood-eyed or the Supreme Nightbringer, was the chief orchestrator of the Underdark forces responsible for the strife of the Eventide. He was a warlock of the pit fiend Gudramoth, and lord of Turaz-Gul through his wife, Lady Rilrae Yen-Ixir.
Mavislak was born in an unknown ghost drow colony in the Middledark and, at some point shortly after he came of age, he took the spirit and power of Gudramoth into his own body. He married Lady Rilrae in EL 955, and they had two children, a son and a daughter.
Mavislak was known to wear black, white, and gold, and wield a special staff charged by foul devilry. Near the end of the Eventide, he took into himself an anilith removed from a dark lapendra, gaining power even beyond what he had already possessed. He was nonetheless defeated by the Light Brigade shortly before he could complete the ritual intended to bind the goddess Miranelle to the material plane. His body was paraded through the streets to show his followers that their fight had been lost before it was taken back to the steps of the temple and ritually destroyed, thus preventing any kind of resurrection.
