Neiren Illa

Neiren Illa is among the oldest ruined settlements of Talazic. Located in what is now the Jeltiri region of Caimrell, only its stone foundations remain standing. Though the architecture seems to have been largely elven, evidence strongly suggests the presence of other races in the city, most likely dwarves, a rare phenomenon in settlements so ancient. Neiren Illa was built and inhabited late in the Age of the Meydra and abandoned early in the Era of Cloud for reasons on which scholars dissent. A magic item thought to be enchanted by the Meydra Rakodah was recovered from the ruins by the famed adventuring party the Silver Ghosts in the EC 3900s. Scant written accounts of direct encounters with the god of travel recovered from the ruins have contributed to the widely accepted belief that Rakodah himself passed through the town when it was still standing.
