Paper Fern Lake

Paper Fern Lake is a lake in the Alustrian region of Jeltir, located about 80 miles east of Prestir. It is well-known locally as a lovely vacation spot, as the lake boasts exceptionally clear waters and is surrounded by a variety of gently rolling hills that offer great views across the water. The largest town on the lakefront is Tensby.
In late EL 1000, the waters of the lake were dark and polluted by the actions of Zachár Flame-tongue to keep his pact with his Hexblade patron. This darkness vanished with the dawn the morning following the victory at the Battle of Geldereth.
