Weston Defiva

Weston Defiva, known sometimes as Weston the Slayer, is a human eldritch knight and adventurer. Born to a poor family in the outskirts of Winterdell, he was a skilled hunter with keen senses and a quick mind, and, at the age of 22, he received a blessing after assisting some fey he found deep in the woods. From there he developed a knack for magic. One day he helped save a small village from disaster and was rewarded by the lord of Winterdell, who sent him on a few more quests, which continued to build his local renown.
At 25 he decided to go traveling, and started heading south, at which point his path crossed with that of Guthmar Vistrik, who was heading north. They became fast friends and after several months traveled to Silverkeep to serve as supplementary guards in the wake of the Eventide. It was here that they met the Light Brigade. They both served in the Prime Squadron when they recovered the Tether of Kaeli from the Tors, and fought in the Battle of Geldereth.
Weston is known to have been a close friend of Sir Wivvyrholdalphiax Adrex, who hired him as a guard at one of his properties for a few years following the Eventide. After this, he moved back home to Winterdell, where he mostly lives quietly as a hunter and trainer. He married a woman named Ferra in 1010 and has six children with her.
