Syha gave a small sigh, thinking about the hangover cure he’d need to administer in the morning. Even if this boy Tayo was allowed to drink, his siblings shouldn’t see him hungover. Syha felt a bit of disgust at the thought of his own brother, Leo, possibly catching him sick in the head, unable to bear sound or light. No self-respecting man would allow his family to see him that way. And, if his friend had no self-respect—which Syha was beginning to think was the case, based on his drunken mumbling in the middle of town—then he supposed he’d have to take it upon himself to force some on him.

General Physical Condition

He's in good overall physical condition, graceful though not agile, and with quick reflexes. He has multiple scars, including a bite mark on his left hand from an encounter with a bakshek as a child, and heavy scars across his chest, which tend to ache in cold weather.

Eight piercings in each ear, in accordance with Ahknan rites of passage. He stopped cutting his hair when he reached adulthood at age sixteen, and so typically wears it in a neat braid ending at his mid-back.

Healer - Syha works as a healer for his town, taking care of minor injuries and illnesses most of the time. Sometimes, he's called in to act as a healer for nearby battles, helping to keep soldiers alive and fit to fight. He was raised to be a healer by his mother, Sanahk, alongside his brother.

Mental Trauma

Syha carries PTSD-related anxiety that comes from being held captive by Unyctan soldiers alongside his brother. Even before then, he was a tightly-wound sort of person and tended to worry rather than relax, but his new anxiety tends to manifest itself in anger.

History

The two are close brothers, having been raised in a small house in a tight-knit community. They hardly speak to each other without teasing, and have a deeply-set trust in one another. Part of this is due to their mother often leaving them alone to help heal in battles, so they've had many nights where it was just them as children.

History

Syhana grew up never thinking about his and Leo's father, whereas Dakinath hasn't stopped wondering what the two of them turned out to be. Upon first meeting, Syha was, quite frankly, disgusted, as he originally saw Dakinath as some tired old traitor. He didn't believe Dakinath was his birth father until his mother told him. So, the two have had a rocky sort of relationship full of mistrust and refusal to cooperate or become close with one another.
