Drake Chosa
Private Investigator
Drake Chosa is a mage (draconic soul sorcerer) of some repute. She graduated from the University of Magic with full merits, particularly focussing on spells of tracking and combat.
Drake has spent much time in the past helping the Knights of the Shield track down dangerous criminals, but more recently has set up her own investigation agency called "Gotcha" based in the city of Nakaba, specialising in matters of the supernatural.
Drake's specialties include using Magic to track people and objects, summoning other worldly entities for information and immobilising foes. In combat, Drake tends towards fire and wind-based spells.
Drake always carries a copper piece, which she casually flicks up and down while thinking. The copper piece is the material component for the 'Detect Thoughts' spell, which she uses liberally in her investigating.
History
Drake once had two promising investigators working under her - Elena Swiftriver and Darvin Greycastle. During a dangerous mission, the pair were ambushed, and Elena was killed. The grief of her death was too much to bear for Darvin, who fled Nakaba and wasn't seen again. Devastated by this chain of events, Drake swore to no longer take on apprentices, instead choosing to work solo for the rest of her career.
