Travel back to Takari Peak to claim the Dragon slaying reward
On the road, Roan has a prophetic dream - unlocking some past memories and eluding to a possible future threat
In the McGuffin Gatherers, the party is met by Inadi Wintermoon instead of Tanfan
Inadi hands the group their reward, citing that Tanfan is currently out on business for Godfrey Verren
The quest board is looking rather bare, with no bronze quests at all
Inadi has recently received a cryptic request from Archmage Zephyrus however, which simply has the teleportation coordinates for his tower, and a mysterious message. The only reason Inadi knew who the request came from is because of the coordinates
Inadi seems quite lax in her handling of guild requests, and offers to send the group to the Islands of Flame where the tower resides, if they fancied investigating. She remarks that whatever this quest is would be considered a silver-ranked mission, but has heard that Collective Action are due a promotion anyway
After some debate, the party decide not to take Inadi's offer, instead opting to head straight to the capital for the Royal Wedding
A few days later, the group arrive in Kureta City with enough time to try on their outfits and enjoy a royal pre-wedding meal
An attempt to get into the bard college's library is unsuccessful, but can wait another day or 2
The day of the Royal Wedding arrives, and the party are up bright and early
Everyone arrives as The Church of the Goddess where the official ceremony is held
There are many high-profile guests in attendance, and crowds of people line the streets in celebration
The day proceeds with speeches, food, entertainment, more speeches and more food
Heads of the many churches of Kureta are in attendance, as well as nobles and dignitaries from Kureta and beyond. Other guests include Godfrey Verren, Arilyn Moonflower (queen of the elves), and a woman he seems to be the same mysterious figure that the party saw leaving Godfrey's office some months ago
Godfrey somewhat claims ignorance of the white-haired woman's presence, and isn't pressed any further. He does however confirm that the party are to be promoted upon their return to Takari Peak
Danifae Nightkeeper is also in attendance, and under Barnabus' advisement is making conversation about the Church of Tenasma
Barnabus asks Arilyn for a dance, to which she agrees. The prince sows some seeds of Tenasma's faith in the elven queen's ear, as shocked and surprised onlookers watch the couple from the sidelines
As the festivities draw to a close, the night is ended with a fireworks display, gifts and speeches
After a final farewell toast from Donovan, a tapped glass draws everyone's attention to Danifae
Apparently not suaded against her Goddess' wishes, the Dark Elf delivers her speech about the Order of the Faceless One, and reveals a gift
Danifae extends her arms skywards, as everyone looks up to see a rippling in the sky, eventually revealing a 2nd, purple-tinged moon
Murmurs of trepidation and wonder spread through the crowd, as Barnabus feels a sudden urge to shift
Noting that his sister is also feeling uncomfortable, Barnabus wisks her inside before going to speak with Danifae
Many folk gather round to hear more about this grand reveal, including Arilyn Moonflower
The town is sure to be buzzing tomorrow...
