Marty - "Paying Back" The Smugglers

It seems that the Smugglers of Hiku City have decided they want revenge on Marty for leaving.
They have hired the Silent Owls assassins to kill the cleric, paying for a "Full Service" which ensures either Marty's death, or the destruction of the Silent Owls.

Assassination Attempts

1. Rezmir - attacked the party after leaving Crab Island.
2. Tokira - attacked in Nature's Rest.
3. Shadow Assassin - attacked in the streets of Kureta City
4. Kithas Black - a master marksman attacked whilst Marty was travelling with Tokira to Hiku City

Motives

Marty has reason to believe that the smugglers may not actually want her dead. One of her trusted inner circle revealed that she overheard a conversation in Smoke 'n Soak, that she believed was about Marty. It seems that they want her back in Hiku, to return to the guild.
Tokira - now freed from her cursed dagger and on the run - revealed that the only way to end the assassination attempts would be to kill every assassin that comes (meaning, the entire guild) or by convincing the person who is paying for the hit to cancel it.
It seems that Marty will have to confront her past in Hiku if she wishes for the assassins to cease their attacks

With Tokira's help, Marty was able to gain direct access to the leader of the smugglers - a man called Korsan Sayer. Korsan was foced to call off the hit (via smashing some kind of magical owl token). Korsan remarks that Marty still owes the smugglers for the time they have invested in her, and that she could still repay them by carrying out one simple mission - placing a rune within the walls of Yukori Prison.
Marty refused this offer, and instead teleported herself, Tokira and Korsan away to Kureta City. After some interrogation, Korsan was dumped into the lake and told to swim home. That's the last they've seen of him...
