Crooken Lines (part 2)

In the hope of resurrecting his former mentor, William Bregan, Breac led a force to Dingaford. The old manor, and the theatre in the back, were all but abandoned, but signs of the blight were frequent. Gorstag spoke briefly with a nest of Giant Spiders who were unable to do much except warn the party away from the area.

On attempting to ressurect Bregan, Breac Sunfist was assailed by forces from the Rotwood Conclave. The party attempted to hold the conclave forces off only to find they were led by Breac's former protege, Sarah, supported by Jaspier Penrose. A fierce battle broke out across the theatre. At its zenith, The Brotherhood of Steel would show up to help hold off the Rotwood Conclave. The former patron of Lady Layla III reached out and attempted to compel her to counterspell Breac, but the effort was defeated by the Mindshield Helm. Finally Sarah was destroyed, and William was ressurected.

On returning to the Guild Hall, the party was informed someone had stolen the Dread Rail of Command, a powerful artifact that enabled its user control over vast numbers of undead. William's voice was transmitted from another world through a sending stone, identifying itself once again as 'Whisper' but revealing that he was now assisting the Guild's former allies across the multiverse, saving who he could in the Guild's place. And Miko Tanner was released from her timelocked prison, apparently cured of all blight.
