Halfling

The Halflings first lived on Eredus before The Great Disaster where they had founded a town called Ravia. They dug their homes in the hills to hide from Giants, Orcs and other beings that hunted them, using their small size to their advantage. When The Great Disaster struck, the flora that hid their homes from predators rotted and they instead used the ashes that fell from the sky to make clay. They used the clay to further hide their homes and to make pots. When the land later became overgrown they gathered soil and planted potatoes and other vegetables in the pots in an attempt to sustain them, since food could no longer be planted in the ground. Hidden in their homes, they waited out the disaster. Many starved, but as a race they survived.
After the disaster, most of Eredus remained a wasteland, so the Halflings decided to cross over to Strathos to look for resources. There they met the Elves, the Humans and the Dwarves who helped them build a city for themselves in Strathos. A forest town called Arcwood they use to ship goods to and from Ravia.
