Tei’ar’len the Enlightened
Tei’ar’len was a legendary Gold Dragon known for her wisdom, and it is said she possess knowledge from when the gods were young. She is said to be one of the most knowledgeable and wise of all dragons to have ever existed, many even believe she possessed the blessing of Sopheia the Goddess of Knowledge.
Unfortunately, she faced her tragic end many years ago, at the hands of a legendary champion of Zethiras the God of Rage. It was a great loss for all metallic dragons, but her legend lives on in the heart of metallic dragons across Strathos.
Tei'ar'len is a direct relative to Nithron the God of Serenity, though there are a few generation in between. While she was not a fighter, she was a scholar and a tactician who aided greatly in the war between Chromatic and Metallic Dragons. She carries a lot of knowledge that even the gods do not want the world to know, and as such as a prime target for the enemies of Nithron, as well as the servants of many of the more secretive gods.
After her death, she took on the form of a ghost, in the hopes of seeing vengeance brought upon the champion who killed her. Though that champion met his end without Tei'ar'len's aid, guidance or assistance. For many years she rested in her crypt, groveling over the fact that she could not bring about the revenge herself. Many years later, once she had come to terms with her unjust death, her soul was claimed by Hale Frostwind and brought directly to The Goddess of Death.
Today, her soul is trapped in a crystal carried by Hale Frostwind, the one who claimed her soul. As she gives advice to and serves the Champion of Death.
Tei'ar'len has a humanoid form she sometimes takes, as her true form often scares the lesser races. She hides her horns under hair hair while doing so, to further try to hide her true nature.
