Lord Melchior Greenleaf (Mel - ki - or Green leaf)
The party encountered Lord Melchior Greenleaf on the way to Hecht.
He presented as a skittish elven male adorned in a green wooden mask with antlers. He asked for protection from the group because he was being chased by an assassin.
In return for your protection he had showed you the entrance to the Elven Capital of Faerun, and sponsored the party as his guests.
He is a noble and is charge of book keeping for some of the most important Elves in the City.
He was discovered as a spy who is relaying logistical information to a network he is involved with.
You later found that he was being hunted by an Assassin's Guild known as The Reach. Once again you had protected him, and drove away the assassin, in doing so he cautioned you all to leave the city for fear that your involvement now cost you your lives.
The party has discerned that, his snooping has been discovered, which is why he was being targeted by The Reach.
