5-24-24, Heroes of the City!
General Summary
Eve of the 6th Annulet Moon in Nova
After an intense day battling Frost Giants, Uribella's head laid to rest on a familiar pillow at the White Crow Inn she expected the familiar nightmares she is usually plagued with. It was a strange rest indeed when she dreamed of a pixie picnic and of a well deep in a forest. The strange well depicted the face of a laughing young woman on it and was in beautiful condition. A group of pixies were drinking water from the well and giggling so hard their faces were red and cheeks were surely sore from the laughter. Uribella, apprehensive of the water also ingested some and was surprised by her reaction. She felt happy, gleeful, and for the next 24 hours she felt particularly adept at things involving charisma. (+1 bonus to all Charisma based skills for the next 24 hours.) Both Chronos and Calista awoke slightly unsettled by her lack of nightmares and screaming from the previous night.
Shortly after awakening Calista, Chornos, and Uribella were disturbed by pounding on their room door. Upon opening the door they were greeted with plates of a hearty breakfast and warm drinks. In the neighboring room Freya and Flimp were also greeted by loud pounding and similar breakfast plates. On their tray a note was scrawled, "For the city Heroes!" Flimp in a hurry to eat and get out of the door nearly choked on his food, and Chronos bolted into the room before even dressing to turn Flimp upside down and pound on his back to assist him in clearing his airways. Chronos then attempted to cast "Zone of Truth" in their room to determine who had scratched into their armor. Freya used counter spell to stop Chronos' spell from taking effect and said some things that really hurt their feelings. It was determined that Flimp was the person who scrawled on Chronos' brand new armor. Flimp then bolted out of his room and ran across town to Preserved to pick up his improved Crossbow from Elagur. As Flimp ran through town he barely noticed the quiet murmurs of passerby's noticing him and discussing that he was a member of the hero party who saved the sailors and defeated the Frost Giants.
Elagur showed Flimp the improvements she made to his crossbow. It's increased stealth abilities and classification as a magical weapon pleased him greatly.
While Flimp, who was eventually joined by Freya were at Preserved, Chronos, Calista, and Uribella went on to The Confection Connection. While there they bought some Jötnbrød, Arcane Party Muffins, Fairy's Heart, and were gifted 6 Vagrant Cakes by the owner there as she recognized them as Heroes of the city. She was very pleased to be serving them and asked them to mention her shop on their travels and Chronos gifted her an autograph.
Flimp and Freya left Preserved and stopped by Aromatic Tonics to see what they could sell their Water Bear for. Sarlahen is a quite shrewd business woman and sold them 5 health potions for 300 gold and thus they managed to leave the Apothecary with 5,200GP and their potions.
Chronos, Calista, and Uribella wandered into Driftwood Carpentry to see what kinds of goods they had. One of the shop owners there showed them a couple of interesting staffs, most notably a Staff of the Python. This item was beautifully carved and Uribella was very enchanted by it so she purchased it for herself.
Flimp and Freya stopped by Mineral Chasm Industries, and the dwarf tending the office there seemed stressed out and short with the intrusion. He did tell them that the sailors who had been saved by them would not be well enough to leave on the next boat out and that if AA showed up on the docks early on Brightsday that they could board the boat and ride it to Stormbreak. Freya and Flimp seemed keen to follow through with this plan and as they were discussing it Chronos, Calista, and Uribella ran into them and there was a heated debate about it. Chronos is very passionate about finding the next hag so they can use the sending stone to contact the The Tireless Hopeless Unrelenting Guardians to help them dispatch the hag. Freya is keen to both board a boat for a change of pace and to ride it to Stormbreak, the last known location of a diadem that her grandmother had told her about. The group seems to have settled on boarding the boat, for now. During the heated discussion Flimp attempted to punch Calista, resulting in Calista headbutting Flimp and Chronos throwing him off the docks and into the ocean.
The entire party went to visit Verbatim, and were quickly surprised by the shocking amount of books piled into the storefront. There they purchased a few books from the Owlin owner, Chronos a book on the flora and fauna in the jungle valley's of Inzali, Flimp a book about Quill, The Sly, and Freya a book on potion making.
Flimp and the group then decided to knock on Sphinxecurity's door to seek work. Despite it being late afternoon the business looked boarded up and dark. Banging on the door a small window opened and the eyes of someone looked out at them, realized that they were speaking to the newly minted Heroes of Windvale, and tried to send them on their way. Flimp spoke in thieves cant to tell the man they were looking for work, and the man said they'd been having problems with the owner of Fleetfoot's Below talking poorly about them, and that if Flimp wanted to make him stop results would be rewarded.
In this late afternoon the group finally decided to return to the Temple of Madarr where they once again spoke with Bellina about job opportunities. She once again mentioned that their mausoleum could use cleaning and the group decided they would take on the task.

Flimp's Crossbow is now a +1 magical weapon, and he no longer needs to use his bonus action to roll for stealth. If he is hidden when he fires his crossbow, he remains hidden. How hidden he remains is dependent on his original stealth roll so if that initial roll was poor, he can still choose to utilize his bonus action to hide or he can take his chances and use the original roll and use his bonus action for something else.
