Priest
An offical Priest is the next level of rank under the Priesthood of Davian. As a Priest you are free to travel throughout Davian and hold surmons at different chapels throughout the nation, however typically you ask to host or are invited. You're also expected to dedicate several hours a day doing things to help the people of Davian, sometimes that means preforming kind deeds, helping the elderly, teaching children, caring for the ill, and that also means visiting standing alters in the area you are in and making sure they are clean and tidy. A Priest who takes residence in a city may be asked by the local Templed Priest to routinely clean specific alters, or to collect offerings left at alters. A Priest is always at the service of the nearst Templed Priest to them.
As a Priest, there are certain benefits. Some chapels have guest quarters that you can stay in, there are often sections in libraries throughout the Nation that have restricted access sections that you gain access to. Often times a Priest will have no need to own their own home, but they can if they wish. A Priest is not banned from working outside jobs outside the hood and many do partake in some outside work for money. Priests are forebien to marry or have children, but one can retire from Priesthood and request their Oaths be completed by the Holy Gifted High Priest of Davian, and one can become a Priest later in life, but it does mean no longer living as a married person.
