The Priesthood of Davian
Structure
The Priesthood of Davian is the leadership that rules and controls all of Davian. Anyone can join the Priesthood, but only truly gifted or talented people, chosen by the Gods, climb the ranks and have a chance to be a leader.
The ranks of Priesthood shift slightly depending on district, city, and village, but generally the structure is as follows:
Seminarian
Priest
Templed Priest
Gifted Temple Priest
Holy Gifted High Priest of Davian
Culture
The Priesthood of Davian's culture is very cut throat, and while ideally a Priest would be a warm and loving person, their personalities are as varied as the Gods they worship. While the Priesthood preaches love and respect for the Gods, the priests themselves may not share that love and respect for each other.
Public Agenda
The Priesthood of Davian, or The Holy Hood's first and only public agenda is to protect and serve the peoples of Davian in a way that honors and pleases the Gods. All decisions they make for the people of Davian stem back to this one priority point.
Assets
The Holy Hood lays claim to at least one major Temple in each District of Davian, and all minor temples built throughout the nation.
History
In the times before the Alliace, rough borders had been drawn and the people of Davian had decided they would be best served if they united in cause, and the cause that united the people of this region most throughoughly was the idea that all people would be best protected and served if their main focus was on serving the Gods.
