Siege of Centuria

The Siege of Centuria was fought between the Dwarves of Centuria at Khur Khaldûr and the recently liberated orcs that sacked Babyl.

The Conflict

Prelude

Following the unshackling of orcs and the Sack of Babyl, the recently freed and hostile orcs of the lands began to unite and search for the next great orc kingdom.

Battlefield

With the unexpectedness of the attack, Khur Khaldûr was completely unprepared for the siege- especially since the orcs pushed from the merchant entrance. Once inside, the orcs murdered Glindul Khaldûr, the eldest living heir to the kingdom.

Nearly all of the fighting was done in and out of Khur Khaldûr. Battles ranged from particular halls within the kingdom to outside the defenses of the mountain.

Outcome

At the end of the conflict, Khur Khaldûr was under Dwarven control. However, the once great dwarven hall was greatly damaged throughout and left the entire kingdom in shambles.

Aftermath

Proceeding the fallout of the siege, Khur Khaldûr became incredibly spiteful towards the rest of the kingdoms in Elloría for not coming to their aid. This would lead towards the development of their steam-powered Centurion defenses. It would be these advances that would lead the kingdom into the Centurion Wars.
