Alfredo conservatory
The conservatory is in the northwest corner of the mansion.
Purpose / Function
The conservatory serves two uses to the household:
- Most of the kitchen herbs grow here, plus most of the fresh vegetables that are not purchased from Purgatory Gulch General Store. Mia de Alfredo had been in the habit of buying vegetables directly from some of the local farms, but those who grew crops Missus Mia did not require were sometimes vocal in their disgruntlement. Missus Mia decided it would be easier all around to instruct her household staff that they should purchase from the General Store instead.
- Anyone with the "winter doldrums" is likely to use the conservatory as an enclosed porch on their rest day, whether it's mid-autumn or earliest spring or the dark months in between.
Entries
The entrance doorway is in the southeast corner.
There are two floor-to-ceiling windows stretching almost the entire length of each outer wall: one facing west, the other
facing north.
Contents & Furnishings
Along the south wall and again on the east wall, sets of adobe side table and leather couch offer a quiet place for relaxation away from the bustle of the ranch's business. Under the windows and filling the northwest corner are the many layers of container garden for the family, growing herbs and peppers and tomatoes, any food plant that will tolerate confined conditions with partial or indirect sun.

Environmental Effects
Even with the windows open, this room is stifling hot in late summer -- but for the rest of the year, it is actually pleasant. Someone has to come wipe everything down two or three times a day when there is pollen or dust in the air, but there is a nice view of Oatman Canyon to the north or the gentle grass-carpeted hills of the ranch to the north and west.

Owning Organization
Legends of Elohey is a work of pure, unabashed fiction. In fact, it considers itself rather fancy and quite proud of itself, when it isn’t worrying itself to distraction. Names of characters, places, events, organizations and locations are all creations of the author’s imagination for this fictitious setting.
Any resemblance to persons living, dead, or reanimated is coincidental. The opinions expressed are those of the characters and should not be confused with any of the authors, since the characters and the authors tend to disagree a lot.
