Glade's Folly
Glade's Folly is a little south of Bellaku and sits on the Zaubrel River which flows down from the hills south of Dunkelgrun through Bellaku and then toward Battervold and eventually the sea.
The majority of Glade's Folly sits within a curve of the Zaubrel River and on a small hill. A sturdy, very aged wall surrounds the core of the village, but it has spilled out of it over time and extended further along the river, almost entirely on the eastern side. Only a small few building exist on the western side of the river.
The river itself is spanned here by a long, gently sloping, elegant bridge in an elven style. It is called The Bowshot.
Demographics
The inhabitants are mostly human, with a strong Halfling presence. Gnomes and Elves can also readily be found here.
Travelling Dwarves and Gnomes from Darin's Fall can also regularly be found here.
Industry & Trade
Most of the industry of Glade's Folly is fishing, and some harvesting of materials from the forest surrounding. It is also a trade waypoint, particularly the route between Darin's Fall and places north.
