The LightBringers gather their new clothes thanks to Niamh, Grit Stonefist, and Gritmar Stonefist. They then greet Thicoul Stromwalker and Captain Ella Figgis outside the Electors Palace and make their way in.

During the ball they meet a few new and old people such as Funi "The Answer" Umoweahl, Arabella Chergoba, Pozohr The Flame, Burghred Voltarren, Gelatra Fendetrave, Olivia Longriver, Ulfric Flussman, Corelle, Katlin, Isadora Giordano, and Elector Vaihl Taddarev.

Eventually, two representatives of Foresthome arrive, Jarmash the Seeker and The Blade of Mol Gentra, reporting they have a warrant for the execution of Arkomir Phinan and Katya Shadowash. After several discussions it is decided that Arkomir will meet The Blade of Mol Gentra in Myriad Plaza at noon the next day.
