Confluence
Confluence is a great walled city at a point where several rivers and streams meet and become the Kathaz River, flowing down to Port Zaram.
As such it has a series of seeming canals and even covered or completely open waterways flowing through it.
The northwest side of the river is considered the more prosperous and elite. There is widespread farming to the south and west of the city. Including some clever weirs and irrigation channels.
The Fracture is the southernmost part of Confluence, and is characterized by its small, densely-packed buildings, many of which extend over narrow alleyways and canals. There is a small temple to the deity Tharizdun located in this district.
Swanway is located in the northeastern part of the city, and is bordered by the Kathaz River on either side. It is a relatively affluent area, with expensive houses, inns, and businesses, though not as expensive as the Crown or Sweetwater Heights. Swanway is a hub of river traffic, with many small river ports that serve as a gateway to the city and to upstream locations.
Sweetwater Heights is the northwestern part of the city, and is situated away from the docks. It is the most gentrified part of the city outside of the Crown, with clean water and expensive houses.
The Crown is the oldest and highest-built-up area of the city, and is home to central administrative buildings and the Electors Keep. It is surrounded by a wide plaza and ringed by temples, including a temple of Erathis in the center, as well as temples to Avandra, Ioun, Kord, Bane, Corellon, Moradin, and the temples of Sehanine and The Raven Queen just outside the city walls.
Eastbank is the easternmost part of the city, and is home to artists, artisans, and laborers. While not as wealthy as other parts of the city, Eastbank is known for its lively atmosphere and its proximity to the Beltway.
The Fragments is the outermost part of the city. It consists of tiny hamlets scattered among farmed land, with crops in the north and grazing animals to the south.
Stoneway is located on the western part of the city, and is a winding road that leads toward the Earthspine. This area is home to many halflings, who live in houses carved into the hills, and to many dwarves, who have taken up residence in the area as well. The Stoneway is known for the ringing of hammers, as many dwarves work as blacksmiths and artisans in the area.
Demographics
Confluence is a relatively mixed city for Khurabil, though Humans remain a majority over any other particular race. Halflings and Gnomes are the second most common inhabitants followed by Elves and Dwarves. Tieflings, Dragonborn, Goliaths, Half-Elves and Half-Orcs can also be found here quite reliably.

Inhabitants of Note
Verithrax Ormolu is a Brass Dragonborn who finds his home here. With his wife Zhelki, a Copper Dragonborn, they run Good Word bookshop.
Jenny Knotwise is a young Halfling. Apprentice to Verithrax.
Trielle, an Elf, can often be found in Myriad Plaza near the Fountain. They are apparently a friend or companion of Corelle (a Half-Elf) who bears a small tattoo of Corellon behind her right ear.
Fastolm is an older Halfling who runs The Lively Grotto Tavern. Finore is a Half-Elf who works in the stables there.
