Relationships

Roemis, for the most part, remains neutral among the gods, and most are content to let him be. The only exception is that he sides with the gods of good against Zolena and Surtr as they seek to destroy while he seeks to create.

Roemis also remains on good terms with Adia, as she is the patron of travelers and looks after merchants who travel the roads, and Selena, as she is the patron of sailors and looks after merchants who travel the seas.

Appearance

Roemis appears as he did as a mortal. He appears as an atlantean male with brown hair, purple eyes, and pale skin. He typically wears a light brown, sleeveless shirt and olive pants under a brown leather apron.

Church of Roemis

Roemis has become the god of the commonfolk. Almost anyone who creates, be they tailors, smiths, builders, architects, engineers, or any one of a number of other professions worship Roemis. As most of these artisans create items to sell, he is also the god of commerce, making him a common patron among non-travelling merchants as well as bankers.

Clergy

Roemis does not have a large clergy, and most of them are clerics and monks. His clergy wear simple robes and live simple lives. All members of his clergy know a trade of some sort; the monks tend toward more peaceful trades such as jewelry smithing, tailoring, or even herbalism and alchemy; the clerics, meanwhile, dedicate themselves to making magical items of all kinds that they sell to adventurers to earn money for the church. Though, temples in smaller towns more lend their efforts to magic that will aid the townsfolk favoring simpler potions or minor magic tools.

Roemis also grants abilities to a handful of champions to aid in the fight against Zolena as well as a stand up for the commonfolk in their travels.

Temples and Shrines

Temples to Roemis are numerous throughout the corners of Jalirûn. They tend to be humble, yet large, all including large workshops where the clergy ply their trade. In larger towns and cities, they also serve as moneylenders and even banks.
