The king of the free city of Hamu-Rak. He won his kingship from the last king in a game of dragon chess, and is know to be very wise.

General Physical Condition
King Rorik is a massive humanoid, as are all Goliaths. He has short white hair, pale white skin covered in patterns and tattoos, and wears large pelts and furs.
Facial Features
King Rorik boasts a long white beard and very bushy eyebrows.
Apparel & Accessories
He dresses in the furs and pelts that are common among his people, but wears a gold crown with Icy blue gems set in it, and carries the scepter of the king, a Silver staff topped with the shape of a dragons claw grasping a carved piece of Eternal Ice.

Personal history
Rorik was born in the year 848 AA to the Gathakanathi clan in the great city of Hamu-Rak. The Gathakanathi clan was known for its skill in smithing, but Rorik wanted something else. At the age of 23, he joined the Igresild, and honed his talent in law, philosophy, and debate. He was chosen to be a member of the Imladric order at the age of 42, and served for nearly 20 years. At this time, he decided to challenge the previous king to a game of dragon chess. The game lasted for 3 days, but finally Rorik was victorious. The old king stepped down, and Rorik assumed the throne in the year 890 AA. He has served ever since, and has bested all that have challenged him for the throne.
Education
King Rorik is a master smith who learned under his family's tutelage as a boy, but his main education was at the hands of the Igresild, where he learned all about law and philosophy. He is knowledgeable in the ways of the world, and a wise and just king.

King Rorik believes that, like the mountains themselves, the Hamurik people can weather anything. As long as they are led in wisdom and justice, nothing could throw them from their place among the stars.
