General Dagoberto Molinelli

Dagoberto Molinelli was born in the slums of Crawford to working class parents. As a child he received little to no formal education or training in any fields, immediately put to work as a courier and laborer as soon as he was old enough. Working in the warehouses and trading posts of Crawford gave him learning in exactly what sort of employment and career he did not want. As soon as he turned sixteen, Dagoberto enlisted as a volunteer with the Department of the Army. He had already been a bit of a brawler with other children in the big city, and his skills in fighting turned useful when he joined, being granted a noncommissioned rank days after completing training. 
With Dagoberto's background in labor, he was chagrined to find himself in command of labor teams involved with the construction and renovation of forts along the borders of the Kingdom of Forard. He still proved an inspiring leader and was slowly raised through the ranks, receiving training as an engineer. He gained ample knowledge through experience in the construction and development of castles and forts, and was even hired out to build the private estates of several leading generals through the course of his career. With the rise in tensions between the Departments of the Army and Navy, including the River War, Dagoberto's services became increasingly in demand, which was able to leverage into a promotion to general in 1018. 
As general, Dagoberto originally oversaw the maintenance section of the Department of the Army, keeping track of fortifications and siege weapons alike, helping to make sure they were all in working order. As he grew older, his talents diminished, and he began seeking a slower path towards retirement. Using the political influence he had built up over his career, he managed to swing a commandant post at Fort Luce, where he settled with his family. He has maintained this garrison ever since, though he allowed his subordinates to take up most of the duties of managing the citadel.
