Matilda Rachiden

Matilda Rachiden is the only daughter of Euritria Rachiden, the head of the Rachiden Banking House in Alsona. She proved to be a prodigy with numbers at a very young age, and was assisting in accounts and loans before she even turned ten. Most of her education was performed in the halls of money and banks within Alsona itself, and her efforts have greatly aided the growth of the bank in the north. She has been deemed the obvious successor to her father to manage the Alsonan branch of the Rachiden Banking House, and being a woman, she has more doors open than a man would in similar circumstances.
Unfortunately, recently greater pressure has been rising from within the family for Matilda to find a husband in order to further the family line and allow her to continue to inherit the growing enterprises. As her fertile years are soon behind her, it is a growing concern for much of the Rachiden family. Much to her father and mother's regret, she seems to be uninterested in anything besides the accumulation of gold and interest rates. She remains firmly dedicated to the family business, but completely detached from the concepts of friendships or courting.
