Cassandra Wolfordshire is the only child and daughter of Odo Wolfordshire, a caravan supplier in the town of Haven. He eventually moved on from there, building wealth for his family and spent years developing its resources. Cassandra was educated in a suitable private school in the Imperial City, where she eventually met Euritria Rachiden, a scion of a major high elf banking house. Despite the extreme difference in age and maturity, the two fell deeply in love. In time this love was accepted by both families, especially by Odo who was thrilled to have a banking house on call as part of the extended family.
Cassandra is a free-spirited woman who disliked the oppressive nature of Jakonian society towards women, especially in the Imperial City. She sought a freer life and encouraged her new husband to take on a more active role with the banking house in Alsona. The journey north was difficult, particularly with the closure of Shin borders, but they reached Parthenonas and began their lives anew. They had five children, and while the half-elves face some discrimination in Alsonan society, they were suitably educated by private tutors, and Cassandra continues to take an active role as the face of the family in local politics and household business.
