Chancellor Quintus Remus

Quintus Remus is the Chancellor of the University of Kraticium in the Shin Empire. He was born to a middle class family in the same city, and developed a passion for the arts. He became well known as a private painter and was able to receive a scholarship to go to the University. His accomplishments in paintings were well respected, and some have even become known to be displayed in the Smitonium Institute in Novanass. Unfortunately, a loss of creativity began to plague him and he fell into a position of professor of arts at the university where he was educated. 
Eventually, he began to paint once more, and some of his art was even smuggled out of the empire to discerning buyers in the Sypi Confederacy and the Kingdom of Bamard. Although he was paid for his masterpieces, these efforts brought him to the attention of the Legate of Kraticium. As Novanass had once more requested all available artificers and wizards to be sent from Kraticium to the north, there was an extreme shortage of professors and leadership personnel within the university. The Legate therefore appointed Quintus as the new Chancellor. 
The impression most people have of Quintus in his new role is that of a man who is in way over his head. The University has continued to struggled under his leadership as the demands from Novanass continue to grow for resources and educated personnel.
