Vampirism

Vampirism is a condition little understood or studied in Emicara. Stories of vampires typically only surface every few hundred years, and many scholars believe that there is no actual evidence of their existence. They have become popular in fiction, but there are many contradictory claims at their capabilities and appearances. Only the most basic information has been acquired, in that a bite is required to transform, but beyond that, little is known. Even the most ardent scholars of the condition have found little beyond fantastical texts that claim they can turn into clouds, wild animals, or even pass through walls, among other crazed notions. No one knows the truths of these claims, and it seems unlikely that a vampire shall ever surface.
