Material Characteristics

The plant it self grows up to 1 meter high. Its leaves are elongated alternating, and grow in three vertical rows. The flowers form dense conelike spikes composed of overlapping blue or teal bracts, which may have yellow edges. Each bract encloses a small yellow-green and purple flowerThe root is a baise or light brown in color. It has a knobby fingery appearance, and usually has lighter and darker rings around it. the outer skin of the root has a light tan, almost beige color with a hint of pale yellow. The inner flesh tends to be a bit lighter in color. When dried, the root takes on a darker, more golden brown color.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The roots of the plant is very special, in that it seemingly does not decay. In fact it does but at a almost in persiveble rate. Due to its very special natur, living condtions and slow growth sycle, it is almost imposeble to cultivate.

The plant is almost only seen in deep reviens, along maountians that are i high natrual magical areas. in a few ocrrences they can be found in very magic heavy glades, where only the top part can be seen.

Life & Expiration

In normal curcumstances the root of af mature Rizachor plant, will take three to five centuries to decay into being bad. At that point it takes another centurie before decaying completly. If the rest of the plant is attached to the roots, it will follow the same progression of decay. But if it is removed from the root, it will wither and decay in one to two weeks.

Storage

As long af the root is whole and still attached, it will keep it self for about a centurie. exprosing the plant or root to imense heat, corosive chemicals or submuching it in liquid, will kill the plant and root within a day or two.
