Haoshem

Haoshem, meaing Land of Riches in the proto-Kalyxian tongue, is the primary continent on the world of Enon. Though the current ascendant political power is The Republic , other political subunits exist.

Geography

Haoshem is, geographically speaking, a supercontinent formed by the collision of multiple tectonic plates. Haoshem has a variety of geographic locations, including volcanic atolls, sweeping mountain ranges, plains and foothills, and various water basins.

Climate

Haoshem is centered in the northern hemisphere of Enon, and generally gets colder the further north you travel. In some of the southernmost locations there is never snow or frost, particularly on the volcanic island chains near the southeastern coast. The center of the continent is generally mild in weather, with warm summers and snowy winters. There is a hurricane season in the spring, mainly affecting the eastern coast.

Natural Resources

Haoshem is rich in minerals, and the fields are generally fertile, especially nearby the many river systems on the continent. Historically, gold, silver, and copper were the primary valuable resources.
