Wife of the current head of the Boar Clan, Catherine is a meticulous planner and administrator. Most of the paperwork and and logistical planning that comes with running the facilities to provide the Great Clans with daisho and armor is her responsibility. She disagrees with her husband over how the clan should be run, believing her husband's method of leadership does not manage to efficiently display the prestige of the Boar Clan.
Secretly led a coup against her husband, imprisoning him so that she could take full control of the clan. She then began performing experiments with the assistance of the Smiling Man in order to create an army of mindless werewolf soldiers that would be used to attack demon forces. This continued until the Crawfish were tasked with the location of a noble who disappeared in the region. Her machinations were discovered and she was slain in the ensuing battle.
She is a noble werewolf along with the rest of her biological family, although this fact is known only by select members of the Imperial Court.
