Druniver
Analean elves that were gifted magic and a drop of blood from one of the great dragons. These are Analean Elves that did not find a creature among the main clans to bond with. As such they upon reaching adulthood they journeyed to try and find a creature to bond with, upon finding none they left for the dragon lands to study under the Dragons and find instead an innate connection to the old magics. Should they prove themselves trust worthy they are gifted the magics and blood changing them to have the wings of a dragon with scales upon their cheeks and shoulders often also gaining a tail with their legs changing to that of a dragons in shape. Most Druiver choose to remain with the Dragon due to feeling more at home among the arid lands and tall mountains, they also most often find their intended mates among the Druiver.
Basic Information
Anatomy
While otherwise Elvish in appearance they have the wings of a dragon with scales upon their cheeks and shoulders. They often also have a tail with their legs often being like that of a dragons in shape.
Genetics and Reproduction
While they do tend to conceive more often than their purely elvish counterparts, they do have fewer births over the years than mortals do due to their extended lifetimes. Each Druiver may have twins at most each pregnancy and typically only conceives four or five times in their life time. Pregnancy lasts roughly 9 to 10 months and females have a period roughly once in an one and a half to two month time span.
Growth Rate & Stages
Druiver mature rather like humans but extended over time. Thus childhood is usually between 0-75 years old becoming a full adult at 150 years of age. typically they don't search for a mate for another 150 years after they reach their age of majority and can typically live between 7,000 to 9,000 years old, the closer they are to sources of magic the longer they typically live.
Ecology and Habitats
Druiver Live in the arid mountainous lands of the Flame lands to the North often living with their dragon bonded or parents until they mate and find their own cave.
