Temple of Draena

Purpose / Function

The Temple was built to house and teach the followers of the Goddess Draena along with providing both a hiding place and protection for a specific Ice Holly Tree that is sacred to the Goddess Draena.

Alterations

A special roof was added in 9945 AtC after an odd man was caught trying to steal a sapling from the Temple meant to replace the current tree during that years Yule celebration.

Architecture

The building is large and airy with motifs of trees engraved on the inside of the halls. In the great hall a charm has been crafted to make it so that down to eight feet above the ground a light snow appears to fall, and frost appears to swirl along the walls.

Tourism

While all are welcome in the Temple and many make a pilgrimage every year to visit the Temple, the Inner sanctum has been closed to visitors since an intruder tried to steal a sapling. However on Yule for the one night the sanctum is opened for all worshipers for a midnight service.
