Common

Common is the language group of the nations that formed after the fall of the The Westreach Federation. Since the fall, Many dialects have popped up due to the division of the region. While all of these languages are different they can be understood or can be learned easily by speakers of another dialect. For in game purposes you can speak, read, and write all languages under common but you must choose one dialect as your native tongue. The language dialects that form common are as follows.

Alterian

Alterian is spoken in the Kingdom of Alteria. It has remained largely unchanged since the fall of the Federation. As such it is one of the easiest dialects to understand and takes little to know extra work to learn from speakers of other dialects.

High Autrian

A small dialect spoken by the upper class of Clearwater. It is similar to Alterian but has a few slight differences in vocabulary. Another easy to understand dialect.

Autrian

A rough and guttural dialect. Spoken by the lower classes of Clearwater and other surrounding port cities. It includes many unique phrases and words so that it takes a bit of time to understand someones meaning. It is fairly difficult to understand Autrian if one speaks a different dialect.

Vestonian

The dialect of the people of Vestonia. It is fairly similar to Alterian, however it includes many more unique words and phrases from other languages. It is easy to communicate with someone if the speaker has a different dialect but some of the meaning may be lost without further immersion.
