Pyrite "The Great"

Pyrite spent most of his childhood a student at The Arcanium Universalis, where he floundered through classes and was often chided for his arrogant self-praise and lack luster academic skill. He was truly a gifted sorcerer, and only one of his professors truly advocated for him to remain at the school, but eventually Headmaster Carrac Hillis, made the choice to expel him when he turned 16 and could be considered a citizen of the realm. He has been wandering the Kingdom since then trying to find his home. He was recently in the Torren Woodlands, when he met Kane Rock-Eater and helped him save a family of halfings from being killed by goblins and their wolves. He then was reunited several days later in Benton after the party had killed the minotaur Skuggs. He has been traveling with them since.
