Torren Woodlands

These woodlands form the central majority of the eastern half of the island. They are a wild place, where danger lurks merely paces off the gravel of the Light Road running alongside the river, towards the capital city of Emerald Bay. These woods are where many new and unexperienced adventures go first to get a taste of what is to come as they travel across these woodlands teeming with numerous monsters and creatures, eager to etch their way into the history books.
There are monsters like goblins, gnolls, spiders, and demons that live in these woods. Many of them live in small packs or tribes, led by whichever beast is the strongest. Towards the mountains in the center of the woodlands, live bigger monsters and more dangerous and rewarding treasures. When the monsters group up, they attack the small town of Benton occasionally, but these hearty villagers have managed to always push them back into the woods and protect their homes and farms.
