Precious Gem Values
Gems are used as currency by some in Eraterna. Mostly nobles and exotic traders deal are the people who use gems in day-to-day trade. If a commoner has any rare gems they likely have been passed down through the generations as a precaution for a rainy day. Magic users seek out certain gems for more difficult and powerful spells typically crushing or consuming the Gem in the process. Many of the gems in Eraterna come from the high mountains of Xuxin but mines can be found all over the world.
