Personal history
Tarathiel Sion was born to the noble house of Sion in Kylael Toria. Despite being a talented mage, his talents were always overshadowed by his older brother Delyn, with whom he shared a rivalry in ever seeking the favor of their father, Craston.
Despite a desire for his father's favor, he found that he already had it from his manipulative mother, Isenia. Therefore, when he was not chasing after accolades, he would spend most of his time learning from her, for she too was a formidable mage in her own right.
After his father took control over Kylael Toria, renaming it Alcarasion, he took part in bending what he deemed lesser beings to the will of the Sion power hierarchy, which included the cruel treatment of their personal slaves as well as taking part in the torture of personal prisoners.
