Epimetheus
Titan of Afterthought
Where Prometheus is the Titan of Forethought, Epimetheus is the Titan of Afterthought. Though he is a god, few would consider themselves worshippers of Epimetheus.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Epimetheus and Prometheus are twins and so they look almost identical. Both have glowing dark blue eyes and black hair, though due to his torment, Prometheus has sickly pale skin and long wavy black hair, whilst Epimetheus has slightly tanned skin and short black hair.
Mental characteristics
Failures & Embarrassments
Being tricked by Zeus into accepting Pandora as his wife, allowing her to spread the concepts of Mortality, Disease and Old Age.
Mental Trauma
Epimetheus is haunted by his past foolishness, constantly reminding himself of how idiotic he was to accept Pandora from Zeus. He feels that the fate of mortalkind and his brother is partially his fault and he feels he needs to find redemption.
Intellectual Characteristics
Titan of Afterthought, Epimetheus was originally very naive and gullible, though he has learnt from each of his mistakes, and tends to be cautious of any situation he comes across, especially if Zeus is involved.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Epimetheus has the ultimate goal of freeing his brother from Zeus' torment, and killing the eagle sent by Zeus to torture Prometheus.
Epimetheus tries to secretly sabotage any and all of Zeus' schemes, though he makes certain that both his treachery and deep hatred for Zeus remains undetected by the Lightning God.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Epimetheus is excellent at convincing other gods that he is harmless, when he is anything but that. He can play the part of the innocent fool with shocking accuracy. Very few gods suspect his true intentions, apart from from Helios as he is ever-watchful and Hermes, as he is the master of lies.
Relationships
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both Prometheus and Epimetheus have a common love of mortals, seeing them as innocent, harmless and strangely endearing as they go about their mundane lives.
