The Minotaur. Half-Man, Half-Bull, All dangerous. The byproduct of an ancient ritual, The Minotaur are known throughout Erethes as brutal warriors and deceptively intelligent strategists.
First appearing in historical texts as a myth, A monster that lives in an endless labyrinth searching for a way out, And later known as an adviser to an old king. It is unknown whether these two events were the same person or not, But a few hundred years after these myths started appearing, The minotaur started becoming a widespread race across the land. It has since been revealed that the original minotaur was actually a small community of Minotaur, Which then grew into a more common race.
When people see a Minotaur, Depending on what region you're in, It is usually assumed that it's a warrior sent by the gods, For a terrible purpose rather than a great one. In Stre' Kaas for example, Minotaur are seen as servants of Hathor, And are usually given the amount of respect that would warrant. In Olympus, Most people see Minotaur as a common sight, Just people trying to live their lives. While in Athrae, Minotaur are often feared and hunted, Leading most Athraen Minotaur to flee to Draland.
