General Summary

The airship Penelope made it's way from Lindow to Yarrin, picking up the party and some others on the way. It left Yarrin, piloted by captain Biggs, and another crewman who mostly kept hidden and never introduced themselves.   Kupo reunited with Zar'ral Helvimtor after having not seen him for a long time.   The group all got to know each other over the few days in which the airship was travelling.   Also on the airship was; Ailwin Hill, Gundo, Jamund, Athet, Bubble of a Cauldron.   The group mostly spoke with each other, deciding to mostly ignore the wonderful and interesting group that was also present on the airship, although Kupo did leave a rather large deposit of 1000gil with Gundo, as a deposit (That might have been 3x the cost of an actual hat..) for the later purchase of some fine headwear from his shop in Padstow.   As the ship neared Padstow, whilst flying through a thick cloud cover, it rounded the tip of a mountains edge in to what appeared to be a horde of poor Flumphs, fleeing en masse and in a panic, directly in to the path of the ship.   A battle ensued, stray Flumphs spraying stench and attacking those they bumped in to. A few were attracted to the magical energies of the airships engines. During the kerfuffle Biggs tried to maneuver the ship out of the way of the horde, flipping it in a barrel roll that threw many Flumphs aside, but almost threw Gundo off the edge, but fortunately he was saved by Kupo.   The ship was saved from serious damage by the efforts of those on board, and had to pull in to land on a small clearing on a nearby mountainside.   The players and Ailwin had to head in to the mountains to recharge an aether battery, so the engines that had been damaged could be fixed. After some time exploring, they came across a small group of Moogle's, dashing about in a panic. The group rushed to the next room, bearing witness to the wondrous vision of a minor primal crystal, cloudy but colorless. It seemed to be damaged, and a lone gargoyle was suckling on the hole, feeding on the energy. It was quickly dispatched.   The energy, now seeping freely in to the air, began to coalesce in to the form of a giant Moogle, the good king Moggle Mog, one might know the name if they happened to metagame. It gazed around at the scene, and, mistakenly believing the party was responsible, launched in to a furious assault, controlling the nearby Moogle's to do it's bidding. The group dealt with the combat using non lethal measures, although Vexacious Rein stood in front of an angry king Moogle for far too long, and found himself knocked out in an instant.   Upon it's defeat, and as it's energy released, all of the cloudy magical energy floated in ther air for a moment before suddenly rushing in to the players, causing them to experience visions. Hopefully their memory and or notes help them to later clarify what that was all about.   They awoke from their visions, Vex included, and found they all had a uniquely colored gem fused with their chests, roughly where the solar plexus lies. About an inch in diameter. They also found strange new powers tingling inside themselves.   They headed back to the airship, and finished repairs. Jamund noticed the gems, and hinted that he remembered reading something about something similar, long ago. He suggested the group go to a site of wonder named The Mysterious Lighthouse, a strange lighthouse to the north west that had never been entered in all of history due to a barrier.   The group deliberated for a while over where to go next; Padstow, for personal quests, The Mysterious Lighthouse, to try and research the strange crystals now in their chests, or to Swynhill, and it's nearby Chocobo ranch, for obvious reasons.   They decided upon the route of "Kweh."
