Arrickor

Arrickor is a city located at the head of the Wereyath River in West Auslon. It was founded by the High King Arric early in the Second Age and has since flourished into a vibrant and important hub of culture and commerce.   Arrickor is often described as a majestic city, one that is both beautiful and powerful. The city is made up of two distinct parts: the walled inner city and the sprawling outer city that stretches for miles and miles. The inner city is home to the wealthy and powerful, with its towering spires, wide avenues, and lush gardens, while the outer city is a bustling marketplace, full of merchants, artisans, and entertainers.   The city of Arrickor is divided into twenty-four wards, each of which is governed by a powerful noble or guild. At the center of the city is the grand palace, the home of the High King and his court. From the palace, the High King commands the city and its people, setting laws and regulations and ensuring justice is served.   The city is also home to a variety of religious centers, including temples devoted to various sects and culture from around the continent. These temples are powerful places, and the priests and priestesses who serve them wield tremendous influence within the city.   At the heart of the city lies the Wereyath River. The river has been a source of life and sustenance for the people of Arrickor for centuries and is an integral part of the city's culture and identity.
