Wereyath River

The Wereyath River is one of the most important rivers in West Auslon and is the main artery of many states arising in the region. Rising in the highlands of Sanshu and winding its way through the scrub lands of Joshu, the Wereyath River is the lifeblood of much of the region, providing sustenance and transportation for the country and its people.   The head of navigation for the Wereyath River in the Second Age is Arrickor, the seat of the High King and the capital of his realm. Along the banks of the Wereyath River, a variety of villages and towns bear witness to its importance in the lives of the people of Wesalon. From the bustling market towns of Warinthel and Arkith to the sleepy fishing villages of Rulan and Dugen, the people of Wesalon rely heavily on the Wereyath River for their livelihoods.   From its source in the highlands of Sanshu to the salty waters of the sea, the Wereyath River is a vital part of Wesalon’s history and culture.
