Artulon

At the mouth of the Miki River is the northernmost trading port of Aleria. Most of the year Artulon is a peaceful and quiet town with rich resources in minerals, forests, freshwater, and saltwater. But, the week of the Festival of Convocation the town fills to overflowing as people pass through on their trip upriver to the Monastery of the Purple Horn.
The dock is small and holds several small fishing boats. Occasionally a larger ship will pay the inflated price to disembark directly on the docks, but most lay anchor in the river or off the coast and ferry passengers and goods to the shore.
There is one small tavern called the Splashing Dophin. It often has vacant rooms, but during the Festival of Convocation It is difficult to get near it let alone get a room.
